The Dwarfather
| Domain | Craft, stone, engineering, labor, maintenance |
| Method | Visions, deep stone attunement |
| Primary Worshippers | Dwarves; also human monks at Aradar's Peak |
Overview
The Dwarfather is a doer's god. Where the Keymaster teaches through philosophy, the Dwarfather teaches through the hands — through the chisel, the forge, the mine shaft, and the repair kit. He demands excellence in craft and hard work without complaint.
He has no patience for poor craftsmanship, for leaving things unfinished, unrepaired, or unmaintained. A broken tool left on a shelf is a small insult to the Dwarfather. A crumbling bridge that no one bothered to fix is a genuine offense.
Teachings
The Dwarfather teaches engineering through visions — not abstract doctrine, but direct knowledge delivered to dwarven craftsmen in dreams and moments of deep concentration. His clergy develop an intuitive understanding of stone that borders on the supernatural.
Dwarven priests can speak to the mountain. This is not a metaphor. Senior clergy attune to the stone around them and receive information — structural weaknesses, mineral deposits, the slow memory of rock that has witnessed centuries. Human monks come to Aradar's Peak specifically to learn the edges of this practice, studying under dwarven masters.
What He Demands
- Work hard. Do it right.
- Maintain what you build.
- Never leave a thing half-done.
- If something is broken, fix it. That is worship.
